A recent road trip to the University of Wisconsin Football Stadium to photograph large structural steel beams being hoisted into place like Tinker Toys was very rewarding. These beams form the backbone of the new scoreboard that will grace the north end zone. A blue bird day topped off the success of this photographic sojourn. Witnessing two cranes hoist and maneuver these huge steel beams was truly a slow motion dance. The steel fabricator will use these images to promote and market their expertise.
